Frank's Department Store is a timeless classic. This was my father's mom and pop clothing store that sold dry goods to the local residents of Brooklyn for over 50 years. It was deemed the Oldest Mom & Pop store in Brooklyn by Mayor Ed Koch of the city of NY and had a loyal and devoted following. Even the family of former Jets quarterback Vinny Testaverde stopped in to shop from time to time. 

The original store is located on 128 Union Street in the Columbia Waterfront District of NYC and now lives on as The Brooklyn General Store. If you happen to stop by, be sure to look at the hardwood floors and olive barrel stains that existed when the building was a post for selling Italian foods like olives and salami.
